Thrissur: A youngster, who sustained injuries in a stabbing incident that took place at a toddy shop in Ollur, passed away. Thaikkattussery native Joby was identified as the deceased. Vallachira native Ragesh was arrested by police over this.
The stabbing took place on Thursday morning at the toddy shop. Police said that Ragesh and Joby were not on great terms. An argument broke out between them while they were at the toddy shop and Ragesh stabbed Joby following this.
Joby was admitted to a private hospital in Thrissur but he passed away on Thursday. Ragesh was handed over to the police by locals who were present there.
