Pathanamthitta: A student was found dead at a hotel in Pathanamthitta on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Thrissur Varandarappilly native Alonso Joji. He was 18.
Alonso, a Plus Two student of Ranni Citadel School, had been residing in the hotel since January 3. Alonso was found dead on the third floor of the building at room 405.
The hotel staff informed the police. A primary investigation shows that it was suicide, police said. It is believed that issues in the family made him resort to the extreme step.
