Thrissur: A man died from a head injury in Chavakkad here. The deceased has been identified as Manathala native and retired Indian Navy officer Usman (84).
The unfortunate incident happened when Usman reached a dry fruit store at around 5.30 pm on Saturday. He hastily walked into the store without noticing the glass door. He fell on his back from the impact of the unexpected smash.
As per the primary reports, the injury sustained on the back of the head in the fall has caused the death.
