Thiruvananthapuram: The fight in Thrikkakara is between those who support development and those who oppose it, said CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. People who want development will vote for the LDF, he added.
There is no point in looking at the numbers of the previous elections. Did anyone predict the win of LDF in Vattiyoorkavu, Konni or even in Pala? But when votes were counted, we won. The political ground is supportive of the LDF, he added.
This government has done so many things. It had asked to feed monkeys (during pandemic induced lockdown). Monkeys have got no votes in elections. We care for the people and environment, he said.
