Interestingly, AAP-Twenty20 have backed out and this has given more teeth to the three fronts. However, they are on hook about how the verdict will turn out.

UDF has been reigning in the constituency since a long time. Uma Thomas, wife of late MLA PT Thomas, may apparently get an edge over sympathy factor. She has claimed that she has good rapport with the people.
Meanwhile, LDF has also pitched a strong candidate. Jo Joseph is not just a medical professional but also a familiar face in social circles of Ernakulam. The tussle with Twenty20 may likely impact LDF’s winning chance.
Meanwhile, BJP is hoping for a better performance and increase the vote share. It is learnt that BJP is eyeing to consolidate Christian votes.
