Dr Jo Joseph visits Mammootty
Kochi: Thrikkakara bypoll is round the corner and candidates of the constituency are campaigning to improve their winning chances.
Candidates visiting religious leaders, celebrities, influential individuals and opinion makers for seeking support is a common sight during elections and the poll-bound constituency is currently witnessing it. Within days of Congress candidate Uma Thomas' visit to Mammootty, LDF candidate Dr Jo Joseph too visited him, seeking his support.
Jo was accompanied by Kochi mayor M Anilkumar, among others. While during Uma Thomas’ visit, she was accompanied by actor Ramesh Pisharody and Ernakulam MP Hibi Eden.
Both the candidates are eyeing for a competitive edge and using all available means and networks.
Interestingly, AAP-Twenty20 alliance has backed out given more space for LDF and UDF.
Meanwhile, BJP is hoping for a better performance and to increase the vote share with AN Radhakrishnan’s candidacy.
