Thrikkakara: BJP has announced their candidate for the Thrikkakara by-election. BJP state vice president AN Radhakrishnan was selected by the party to represent NDA in Thrikkakara. His candidature was decided by the national election committee of the BJP.
Earlier, it was reported that BJP directed Radhakrishnan to kickstart the campaign events in Thrikkakara. The saffron party aims to pose a serious competition despite not having a strong presence in the constituency. BJP also faced serious setbacks in 2016 and 2021 assembly elections here.
Meanwhile, the association of Twenty20 with the Aam Aadmi Party will also pose a major threat to BJP in Thrikkakara.
