Kochi: Three school students drowned while taking bath in a river near Thattukadavu bridge in Paravur, Ernakulam. The incident took place on Saturday.

The deceased are cousins and have been identified as Class 5 student Sreevedha, Sreerag (13) and Abhinav (13), natives of Paravur.

According to local reports, the children had gone to play near the river. They were staying at their relative's house. When they did not return, the locals began searching and found the children's bicycle and clothes by the river.

The bodies were found late at night and were shifted to Paravur Taluk Hospital.
