Thrissur: In a tragic incident, three members of a family were killed after the car they were travelling fell into a river in Arattupuzha here on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Thrissur natives Rajendra Babu (66), his wife Sandhya (60) and their grandson Samarth (6).
The incident took place around Monday noon. Reportedly, the family were on their way to a marriage function.
The couple’s son Sarath (30), who was in the car, was rescued by the local residents and rushed to the hospital.
