Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran alleged that gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh and Thomas Isaac have close contact. Isaac himself should make it clear what relation they have. This will be clear from the telephone records. The gold smuggling team intervened in the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB), Surendran alleged.
Thomas Isaac had held discussions with Sivasankar and Swapna Suresh regarding KIIFB projects. More details of this will be available from the phone records. They are involved in gold smuggling, drug deals and all corruptions related to major projects, he added.
The chief minister and a few other ministers helped the gold smugglers. Thomas Isaac is one among them. Isaac is talking philosophy after taking the tax paid by the public. Many CPM ministers are involved in this case. As Isaac is involved in it, he has to give an explanation, Surendran stated.
