This is the first time I have seen someone apologising for rain: Ramesh Pisharody
Kanhangad: The closing ceremony of the Kerala School Kalolsavam was held in Kasaragod amidst the heavy rains. Actor Ramesh Pisharody, who was invited to the event as chief guest, captured the audience attention.
“Just when I enterd, an organiser extended his apologies for the heavy rain. This is the first time I have seen someone apologising for the rain. One has to have a big heart to show this courtesy, for the Kalolsavam had been organised successfully with the involvement of the native people," Pisharody said
Pisharody added that although there are no lodges or hotels nearby that could accommodate a large number of people, locals have shown great enthusiasm in accommodating them which made the Kalolsavam a huge success.
Palakkad won the second consecutive title with 951 points. Kozhikode and Kannur finished second with 949 points. Thrissur came third. Next year, the Kerala School Youth Festival will be held in Kollam.
