Adimali: Anil V Michael (38 years), a resident of Thodupuzha was arrested for duping a man of Rs 35 lakh in a land fraud case. Bose, a Thiruvananthapuram native is the victim in the case. He was given a fake offer for buying a plot in a tourist area for a relatively cheaper price. Anil, who was hiding from the police, was arrested in Karnataka. Police are looking for six more people in connection with the case.

On May 19, Bose received a call from a man who introduced himself as Father Paul. He was offered a tourist land near Adimali for a relatively cheaper price. Bose fell into the trap. He was convinced into taking Rs 35 lakhs to Adimali for handing over the cash to one of the priest’s close aides. However Bose was attacked and looted of money upon arrival.
