Thiruvananthapuram: A house was completely destroyed in stupendous gush of water due to heavy rain near Vithura here on Thursday.
It also damaged around 15 houses in the area. However, no casualties have been reported so far. The destroyed house belongs to Ajithakumari of Pannikkuzhi. The natives have shifted to a tribal school nearby. Most of the people here had moved to the shelter yesterday itself. The water level has gone down as rain is subdued, it is learnt.
