Thiruvananthapuram: Upholding the secular values of Kerala, Metropolitan trustee of Jacobite Syrian Church Dr Joseph Mar Grigorios solemnized the marriage of a Hindu couple here.

Visually challenged couple Attingal native Ravikumar and Malappuram Thaloor native Sujatha tied the knot under the auspices of the metropolitan.

Ravikumar and Sujatha entered wedlock at a charity event organized as part of the silver jubilee of Dr Joseph Mar Grigorios being conferred with the title of Metropolitan. The Metropolitan bore all expenses of the wedding ceremony.

St Peters Jacobite Cathedral vicar Fr Fevin John, Kochi Bishop House manager Fr Joshy Mathew, church secretary Peter K Elias, YMCA president Dr Koshi M George, Jacobite youth association leaders Jose Sleeba, Baiju Mathara and others also attended the event.
