There is conspiracy to hunt me, says BJP chief
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president PS Sreedharan Pillai alleged that there is conspiracy to hunt him over Sabarimala issue. He was addressing the protest staged in front of Cliff House, Chief Minister’s residence, here on Monday.
“I had never hurt even an ant in my life. But still there are attempts to charge cases against me. There are organised attacks against me. Being a strong believer in God, I surrender everything around me to God,” said Sreedharan Pillai.
He noted that violence is not BJP’s agenda. BJP is staging protest by chanting Ayappa mantras.
Meanwhile, expressing support to K Surendran, he stated that Surendran inside the prison is more powerful. He fought for freedom in Sabarimala, he added.
“The Chief Minister, who is obliged to assure justice to the people, is taking unfair stand towards BJP activists. Our party will survive from any adversities even if government refuses bail to Surendran. Surendran is one of the most prominent leaders of BJP. He is being booked in cases in which he has no involvement,” noted Pillai.
He criticised that some policemen and CPM activists misunderstood Sobha Surendran and K Surendran as couple. When Sobha Surendran was booked in a case, they said Surendran influenced her to commit the crime.
Police officials who commit mistakes often should be terminated from service.
“Vinasha kale vipareeta buddhi (When a person is slated to destruction his mind will deceive him), this is the only thing I wish to say to Chief Minister on his stand against BJP," Pillai added.
He pointed out that only CPM and Congress will face loss in the protest. BJP will have political gains out of it.
At the same time, he said that he a case will be filed against SP Yathish Chandra. Yathish Chandra will be forced to apologise to BJP, he warned.
