Thiruvananthapuram: The government has introduced ‘Thelima’ scheme to correct the mistakes that occurred during data entry in the Ration Card Management System as part of the renewal of cards in 2017.

Any changes in the name, age or address of the card members, their relationship with the cardholder, LPG, power connection and similar data can be updated in the card with the new scheme.

However, changes in ration card type, income, area of house and details of vehicles cannot be corrected through this scheme.

People can apply for changes from November 15 to December 15 via Akshaya Centres or individual login on the website of the Food and Civil Supplies Department.
