The move was to create riot : Minister
Thiruvananthapuram: Devaswom minister Kadakampalli Surendran said that he intervened in the issue when he came to know about moves to set off a riot in Sabarimala.
He was responding through a Facebook post on the entry of two women in Nadappandal under police security. He also said that a conspiracy to create chaos is suspected in this issue. The government has no responsibility to stand with those who try to create bloodshed.
When Andhra native journalist Kavitha Jakkala and Malayali activist Rehna Fathima tried to enter Sabarimala, the devotees had blocked them. To this, the minister responded that the government has no responsibility to protect the activists.
