Kannur: The court acquitted RSS workers accused in the murder of CPM activist Sudheer Kumar in Thalassery. The Thalassery Additional Sessions Court acquitted accused one to seven in the case due to lack of evidence.
The court held that the prosecution had failed to produce sufficient evidence against the accused. On November 5, 2007, CPM activist Sudheer Kumar was killed. There were a total of seven accused in the case. All of them were RSS activists.
