Tenkasi native who died in Chengannur tests COVID-19 positive
Chengannur: Kerala confirmed one more COVID-19 death on Friday. Tenkasi native Binori (55) who died in Chengannur tested positive for the virus infection after his death. He was engaged in umbrella making at Chengannur town.
Binori was admitted in Chengannur district hospital on Thursday after he suffered breathing issues. From there, he was shifted to medical college. He breathed his last midway to the hospital. He turned positive for COVID-19 infection in the test carried out after his death.
He was settled in Chengannur for a long time. His five roommates and people who took him to the hospital were advised to observe home-quarantine, informed health department.
