Thiruvananthapuram: The glitches in the CoWIN portal due to the technical failure resolved after 2.5 hours. It is learned that the login provided to the vaccination centres were failed. Following the technical glitches, vaccination procedures were delayed.
Vaccination was discontinued in many centres due to the techincal glitches. In Thiruvananthapuram, the vaccination drive resumed after displaying a notice.
After experienceing issues to log in the portal, the health department contacted the centre and requested to resolve the issue immediately. In response to the complaint, the centre informed that the problem was caused by a technical glitch and would be fixed soon.
The new doses were sanctioned to Kerala on Wednesday following the shortage of vaccine doses. The centre has promised that more doses of vaccine will be provided to Kerala in view of the surge in COVID cases.
