Kannur: A school teacher who raised slogans and protested against the Chief Minister aboard the aircraft was suspended. Farseen Majeed, 28, Mattanoor Mandalam President of Youth Congress, is a teacher at the UP school here.
He was suspended for 15 days following an enquiry conducted by the DDE on Tuesday. According to the DDE, Farseen arrived for duty on Monday morning. He applied for half day leave and his request was approved as per the school document.
However, people demanded his suspension after a case was registered against him following the incident on the flight. A lot of students also approached the school demanding TC. Following this, the school management decided to suspend him.
