Thrissur: A Tamil Nadu native lost his life after he was hit by a KSRTC Swift bus in Kunnamkulam here on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Paraswami. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The incident happened on Thursday morning after a Swift bus plying between Thrissur and Kozhikode hit the commuter while he was crossing the road. The locals alleged that the bus fled without stopping.
Kunnamkulam police later identified the bus which caused the accident. The bus was taken into custody.
