Talks remain indecisive; PSC rank holders to continue protest in front of Secretariat


The rank holders said that they would continue the protest until the government accepts their demands, including creating new posts, and gives written assurance.

Thiruvananthapuram: PSC rank holders will continue their protest in front of the secretariat after discussions between their representatives and the Chief Minister’s office failed.

Speaking to the media after the discussion, the PSC rank holders said they would continue protests until the government gives assurance. The protest which started at 11.30 pm went on until 1.15 am.

The government representatives told the job seekers that the demands of the rank holders will be considered in time. The rank holders said that they would continue the protest until the government accepts their demands, including creating new posts, and sought a written assurance.

On Friday evening, DYFI leaders had spoken to the protesters. Following this, the CM’s office called the protesters for a discussion. 4 of the protesters took part in the meeting.
