Palakkad: Swapna Suresh, who was the key accused in the gold smuggling case, joined as the CSR Director in an NGO centred at Attappadi here on Friday morning. The second phase of life begins here, Swapna told Mathrubhumi News.

“Both tribals and corporates are humans alike and the troubles they come across are also the same. Only institutions and offices keep on changing, human minds are the same everywhere. I will work wherever I am employed, and would not confuse between job and the case. I am not sure who comes to trouble me now. But I will confront each threat on time,” said Swapna.

Swapna has joined the Palakkad office of the High Range Development Society (HRDS), an organisation that coordinates the welfare activities of tribals. HRDS functions by utilising the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds of various companies.
