Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC general secretary Thampanoor Ravi stated that the campaigns alleging that the gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh is his daughter-in-law are baseless. He also said that he would file a complaint with the DGP against this fake campaign. He stated this through a Facebook post.
"Some cyber comrades are propagating that the gold smuggling accused Swapna Suresh is my daughter-in-law. My family or I have no connection with the woman named Swapna Suresh," he said in the Facebook post.
Some political brains are trying to divert the case. We will file a complaint with the DGP against those who cooked up these fake stories and circulated it through social media, Thampanoor Ravi added.
