Thiruvananthapuram: KT Jaleel MLA demanded a probe into the fresh allegations of Swapna Suresh who claimed that a person named Shaj Kiran threatened her to withdraw the statements against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the gold smuggling case. Jaleel suggested a probe into this allegation also along with the case lodged by him against Swapna.
He condemned that everyone one knows which party’s leader he shall be if he arrived in a vehicle with UP registration. Police should investigate this, he added.
He challenged that nothing could be found out against the party even if the investigation proceeded for a thousand years. He accused the RSS and BJP of misusing the Enforcement Directorate to silence the opponents.
In an anticipatory bail plea filed against the complaint lodged by KT Jaleel, Swapna had informed the court that she received threats from a person named Shaj Kiran who asked her to withdraw her statements given against the CM. She said that she had saved the audio clip of Shaj speaking and threatening her as she would be jailed and her son will become alone. Swapna informed the court that Shaj Kiran asked her to withdraw her statement against CM by 10 am on Thursday.
