Survey on effectiveness of school education: Kerala students poor in Mathematics

New Delhi: The National Achievement Survey of the Ministry of Education revealed that students of Kerala lag behind in their performance in Mathematics compared to other states. The survey which gives a system level analysis of the effectiveness of school education reported that the students of 10, 8 and 5 standards exhibit poor performance in Mathematics. Meanwhile, the students of 3rd standard excel in all subjects compared to the national average.
