Thiruvananthapuram: Supplyco has extended a helping hand to expats who have returned to Kerala amid the coronavirus outbreak. Supplyco in association with NORKA will assist the expats to open stores in the state.
Under the project, items supplied through Supplyco and Maveli stores will be made available in the stores run by expats. To apply for the Pravasi Project, the expats must have their land and building.
NORKA will avail business loans at low-interest rate through commercial banks for those who are interested in the project. At the same time, no Pravasi stores will be allowed near 5 metres of Supplyco stores. Expats who open the Pravasi stores will be the franchised dealer of Supplyco.
One Pravasi store should not have another store within 2 kilometres of its limits. These stores should sell products at the same rate in Supplyco stores.
Supplyco will deliver stock to these stores with the condition that the amount should be settled within 15 days. As per the conditions of Supplyco, people who apply for the franchise must run the stores for a minimum period of 3 years.
