Thrissur: Sunitha’s home at the 5 cent property is a shelter home to more than 70 dogs. Out of this, four are really old, 14 dogs are sick and nine are puppies. Most of these dogs were found abandoned. One of the dogs fractured its spine after a vehicle ran over it. Animal lovers had filed a case on this incident alleging that someone did it intentionally as the dog was resting on the sideway.
