Kannur: A complaint has been raised against Kannur University for changing the venue minutes before the commencement of examination.

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon. Students who appeared for fifth-semester examinations of BA, B.Com (distance education) courses at ITM College, Pavannoormotta, faced an unpleasant situation.

The students only learned about the venue change after reporting at the examination centre noted in their hall ticket. Fortunately, the principal-in-charge, EV Ramya, arranged transport for students to the new centre at Sir Syed College in Taliparamba.

Meanwhile, some argued they couldn't write the exam due to venue change.
