New Delhi: All student organisations must have the opportunity to function in campuses, said Communist Party of India (CPI) Kerala state secretary Kanam Rajendran.
“The lack of this opportunity is the reason for the issues in MG College and Thiruvananthapuram University College. If the Left organisations cannot ensure democratic rights, how can they fight against fascism,” the CPI leader asked.
In MG college and University college, some organisations are preventing others from functioning. This resulted in problems inside the campus. Police registered cases and arrested several students following the violence at University college, he added.
“It must be ensured that all student organisations have the liberty to function in campuses,” said Kanam Rajendran.
