Strict actions for not wearing masks: Govt releases circular to remind public

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has released a circular asserting that wearing of masks is compulsory in the state.

Through the new order, the government reminded that wearing masks is obligatory at public places, gatherings, workplaces and during transport.

Any violation to this instruction shall be punishable under provisions of the Disaster Management Act and other relevant laws in force, read the notice. The circular has been circulated to all District Police Chiefs for urgent implementation and remarks.
