Stray dog attacks toddler in Kannur, hospitalised with injuries on face

Kannur: A one-and-half-year-old boy suffered grave injuries on his face after a stray dog on Wednesday in Panur. The child is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Kannur.

The injured boy is Naseer, son of Nasser and Murshidha, residing near the Lord Ayyappa temple in Panur. He was attacked by the dog while standing in front of his house.

He suffered injuries to his eyes, nose and ears. Meanwhile, locals alleged that attacks from street dogs have increased in the Panur region.
