Shoranur: An unknown person threw stones at the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express train damaging a window of a coach.
The incident happened between Tirur and Shoranur railway stations.
The officials inspected the train when it halted at Shoranur station. However, the trip continued after the crack was closed with tape temporarily.
Throwing stones at trains is common in this area. People near doors and windows are often injured.
Vande Bharat train was inaugurated on April 25.
