Pala: Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Isaac said that the steep hike in fine for violation of road rules is wrong. He was speaking at discussions held at Kollapplly and Mutholi in connection with the Pala bypoll.
The notification in this regard has not been issued in Kerala. Follow up action will be taken up after Onam. Over Rs 7,000 crore from the treasury has reached the Onam market in one week at an average of Rs 1,000 crore per day. This has helped make useful trade movement in the Onam market.
Isaac explained to the public how the state government was planning to find Rs 50,000 crore for developing basic infrastructure. The government formulated Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) as it had limits in taking loans.
