Kochi: VD Satheesan said that the price of tomatoes have reached Rs 100 when the state government is putting all its efforts to win their 100th assembly seat in Thrikkakara. The government failed to take any measures to tackle inflation which has hit public life very hard. The price of basic commodities has risen, he added.
He also asked the LDF government to reduce the fuel tax. "The state received additional revenue of Rs 6000 crore only due to the central government increasing tax levied on fuel," he said.
Satheesan also said that UDF always stood with the survivor in the actress attack case of 2017. He added that they would voice their protest if the case was subverted and the accused was set free.
