Thiruvananthapuram: The SFI Thiruvananthapuram district leadership came under severe attack from delegates at the party conference. The members of the district unit raised several allegations with examples.

Delegates at the conference expressed their discontent over the lack of action taken against a state committee member involved in drug use. Furthermore, the attendees raised concerns about SFI member Vishakh, on the run after facing impersonation charges over the Kattakada Christian College union elections.

Members pointed out that the impersonation case has brought immense shame to the organization, tarnishing its reputation. The representatives of the Parassala and Vithura area committees even alleged that impersonation occurred with the knowledge of the district leadership.

The appointment of a suspect implicated in a stabbing incident at University College as Secretary of the area committee drew criticism as well.

Similarly, the delegates pointed out that the current District Secretary was allowed to continue in the post despite exceeding the age limit. It stoked a debate, and CPM district leadership instructed the conference delegates to produce their SSLC certificates.
