Thiruvananthapuram: SRIT, the company that won the contract from Keltron for the Safe Kerala project, termed the allegations levelled by the leaders of the opposition parties in the state as "political agenda".
SRIT CEO Madhu Nambiar told Mathrubhumi News that the company would take legal action against Opposition leader VD Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithala. He added that the company would no more take up any new projects from the state due to the recent developments.
"SRIT has decided to file a criminal defamation case against VD Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithalla for their recent allegations targetting the company. A notice would be issued to both leaders soon," he said.
Meanwhile, Madhu Nambiar dismissed allegations that he knew Prakash Babu, the father-in-law of the Chief Minister's son. He added that SRIT issued a sub-contract to Prasadio after evaluating their qualifications.
