Spy cameras found from Monson’s guest house bedroom and spa
Kochi: The Crime Branch has found spy cameras from the guest house bedroom and cosmetology center belonging to Monson Mavunkal, the antique fraudster. Three cameras using high-end technology have been found in a joint inspection led by the Crime Branch and Cyber Police. The cameras were installed with the help of a private cable networking agency.
There were facilities available for Monson to view the visuals captured by the spy cameras. Voice command technology was used in these cameras to record visuals. Monsoon will have to be taken into custody and quizzed to know more about the people who fell prey to his spy cam operation and to confirm if the visuals have been copied into iCloud or other online storage facilities. The Crime Branch will seek custody of Monson in this case apart from the POCSO case.
Other reports revealed that one of the pendrives belonging to Monson was burned after his arrest. One of Monson’s employees is said to have destroyed the pendrive as per Monson’s command. There are 28 cameras installed in Monson’s museum alone. Arrangements had been made for Monson to view the visuals captured by the cameras on his phone while sitting in his guest house. The cameras had been installed slyly inside the spa and bedroom.
The networking agency that installed the cameras was called into his guest house for questioning. Monsoon’s interrogation is crucial to understand more details about the spy cameras. The cameras taken into custody will be sent for scientific examination.
