Thiruvananthapuram: A special investigation team will be constituted to probe Titanium job fraud case, say reports. This comes at a time when more people are approaching the police with complaints following the arrest of the first accused in the case.

Presently, Venjaramoodu and Poojappura police stations are probing the fraud case on charges of swindling large sums of money after promising employment to job aspirants in the Travancore Titanium Products Ltd. (TTP).

TTP had suspended its legal AGM Sasikumaran Thampi, who is the fifth accused in the case.

Meanwhile, the prime accused Divya Nair has been sent to two-day police custody.

Divya’s husband Rajesh, Thampi’s friends Prem Kumar and Shyamlal are the other accused in the case. Though police nabbed Divya, all other accused are on the run.

A total of six cases have been registered against them. The police are on a manhunt based on the network activity of the accused. The income sources of the accused are also under the scanner. The officials have already raided the office and the accused's properties. The scale of scam remains unknown as the cases on the job fraud are spiralling.
