Special flight from Riyadh to land at Kozhikode airport on Friday

The returning expats include 7 men and 13 women from Kozhikode. Among them, 12 are pregnant women and five are kids below 10 years.

Kozhikode: A group of expats from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia will arrive at Karipur airport here on Friday as part of the repatriation amid the coronavirus outbreak. The special flight carrying 149 passengers including 20 Kozhikode natives will land here at 8.30 pm.

The returning expats include 7 men and 13 women from Kozhikode. Among them, 12 are pregnant women and five are kids below 10 years. The pregnant women and children will be allowed to observe home quarantine. Other three returnees will be taken to the COVID-19 care centre under the district authority.

At the same time, 26 people who returned to Kozhikode in the special flight from Dubai on Thursday are already quarantined in the COVID-19 care centre here.

The special flight from Riyadh will carry 139 passengers from 13 districts in Kerala besides 10 natives of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
