South Kerala’s first Agnipath recruitment rally begins in Kollam

The agniveer rally, which is being held for volunteer candidates from the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alapuuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki, will conclude on November 24.

Kollam: The first Agnipath army recruitment rally to the southern districts of Kerala began at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, Kollam on Thursday.

The rally was flagged off by District Collector Afsana Perween in the presence of District Police Commissioner and Brigadier AS Valimbe, DDG Army recruitment, Bengaluru zone.

The Agniveer rally, which is being held for volunteer candidates from the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki, will conclude on November 24.

A total of 25,367 candidates have registered for the rally. Of which, 2,000 candidates are instructed to report on the first day. They will undergo physical fitness tests and those who pass the physical tests will undergo medical fitness tests.

Meanwhile, the army recruitment rally to the posts of nursing assistants and religious teachers for candidates from Kerala, Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Mahe is scheduled to be held from November 26 to 29 at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, Kollam.
