Solar commission report should be made public: Chennithala
Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala on Thursday said that the LDF government and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is resorting to cheap revenge by trying to destroy the Opposition under the cover of Solar commission report.
"The government should make the complete version of the Solar Commission report public. It should also give a copy to the Opposition. Publishing a portion of the report is not correct. Normally, commission reports are produced in the Assembly. I cannot reply to the allegations in connection with the commission report without knowing the content of the report. The chief minister and the government should not think that the people of Kerala will believe the utterings of a woman who is an accused in 33 cases. The CPM is misusing the solar commission report," Chennithala said.
Chennithala said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan issued the order for the probe during the initial hours of Vengara polls in order to sabotage the election. It is similar to VS Achuthanandan's visit to TP Chandrasekharan's house during the Neyyatinkara by-elections.
Alleging that CPM-BJP conspiracy is behind the present moves against the Congress, Chennithala said that the state government helped BJP by tarring roads and declaring a holiday for schools when Amit Shah visited Kerala.
“When the BJP was in a crisis due to the Medical College scam, the CPM saved BJP by murdering an RSS activist in Thiruvananthapuram,” he added.
