Thiruvananthapuram: BJP leader Sobha Surendran may not contest the assembly election if her complaint against the state leadership is not resolved. She will wait for 10 days for the national leadership’s intervention in the issue.

It is learnt that Sobha Surendran said this to the state leaders who initiated attempts of peace making. If she continue to be non-cooperative, it will pose a big threat to BJP in the assembly polls. If she did not contest the polls, it will create a sense that BJP does not have unity.

Though Sobha remains silent at present, criticism of leaders publicly or taking any serious decision, may cause a major damage to the party amid the election. C P Radhakrishnan, the prabhari who is in charge of Kerala, assured her that Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda will intervene in the matter.

Sources close to Sobha stated that she will wait for the national leader’s intervention for 10 more days. Meanwhile, P K Krishnadas faction said that A N Radhakrishnan has been assigned to pacify Sobha. They stated that her issues will be resolved ahead of the polls. But Sobha Surendran is waiting for direct intervention from the centre.
