Thrissur: BJP state vice president and national executive member Sobha Surendran is back in active politics after a long break of 10 months. The leader was on a cold war with the state leadership due to some difference of opinion over party reorganisation.

Sobha Surendran made her comeback attending the party event in Thrissur Thekkinkadu maidan on Thursday in which BJP national president JP Nadda also attended attending.

Responding to the media on her comeback, the leader stated that the party and her friends wanted her to attend the BJP meetings.

At the same time, she refused to comment further.

“I’m not interested to make any statements rather than the explanations given by the national president,” said Sobha Surendran.

“I’m attending an event attended by the national president. My friends and party want me to be one among the delegates at the event. I don’t want to respond on any questions today,” added the leader.

The national leadership of the party has directed the state leadership to settle the issues within the party. Sobha Surendran was keeping away from the party due to the difference of opinion over the party reorganisation. She had alleged that the state leadership neglected her while reorganising the state committee.
