Veena George; Sajeesh and Prathibha with children
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister of Health Veena George extended her wishes for the remarriage of Sajeesh, husband of sister Lini who succumbed to Nipah in 2018. The minister shared a Facebook post conveying her good wishes to the engaged couple Sajeesh and Prathibha.
Perambra native Lini, who succumbed to Nipah, still remains as an unhealed scar in the memory of Keralites. She was diagnosed with Nipah after treating an infected person at Perambra taluk hospital in 2018. She was a nurse here.
In a jovial Facebook post, the minister wrote that Lini’s children will soon get a mother. It was Sajeesh, who rang up the minister to inform about the marriage news.
The wedding will be held on August 29 at Lokanarkavu temple in Vadakara. Sajeesh’s elder son is studying in fourth standard while the younger one is in first standard. Prathibha is a school teacher and has a daughter.
