Two more passenger trains to resume service in Kerala from July 15 onwards

Chennai: The Shoranur-Kozhikode and Shoranur-Coimbatore passenger trains will restart service on July 15 and 16, respectively.

Beginning journey from the Shoranur station at 5.45 in the evening on July 15, the SRR-CLT train (06455) will end service at Kozhikode at 7.45 pm.

On 16, the train (06454) will start from Kozhikode at 5.20 in the morning and arrive at Shornur at 7.30 am.

The Coimbatore passenger (06458) will start service at 8.20 am on July 16 from Shoranur and reach Coimbatore at 11.05 am. The return service (06459) will commence at 4.30 pm and end at 7.05 pm at Shoranur.

Both trains were stopped during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. The commuters have been demanding to restart the services for quite some time now.
