Prithviraj Sukumaran's second directorial venture 'Bro Daddy' starring Mohanlal will resume shoot in Kerala. The decision came after the Kerala government granted permission for film shooting in the state adhering to protocols. As lockdown restrictions prevailed, movie shooting was not allowed in Kerala. Hence, the film crew shifted shooting to Hyderabad.
Earlier, the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) had requested the government to grant permission to start shooting complying to Covid protocols. Complaints had arisen as serials were allowed to continue shooting but movie shooting was denied permission. Following this, the government granted permission for movie shooting adhering to movie protocols.
Producer of 'Bro Daddy' Antony Perumbavoor expressed his happiness to Mathrubhumi News as the team was able to resume shooting in Kerala.
"A few days' schedule of the shooting also is pending in Hyderabad. The film crew will return to Kerala after completing the same. The shooting of Jeethu Joseph movie starring Mohanlal which was halted due to lockdown restrictions will also resume soon," he added.
“We will strictly follow the Covid guidelines put forward by the government without fail. We can reduce the cost of production by shooting in Kerala. Also more people here will get job opportunities with this,” said Antony Perumbavoor.
