Kottayam: Janapaksham candidate and veteran political leader P C George’s son Adv Shone George won from Poonjar division of Kottayam district panchayat.
Shone George defeated the candidates of major political fronts LDF, UDF and NDA. Janapaksham had fielded four candidates including Shone George to Kottayam district panchayat.
Shone George won defeating UDF candidate Adv V J Jose Valiyaveettil. Kerala Congress Jose K Mani faction’s candidate Adv Biju Joseph Elamthuruthy came third in this division.
