Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, while interacting at a media conference here on Monday, said that the survivor of the 2017 actress assault case is his friend and he will stand with her.
“I have first-person information on the issue. I can confidently say I will stand with her. In fact, many of us are with her, not just me," he said.
Prithviraj was responding to the media queries on the case in which his colleague actor Dileep is an accused.
On the case against Vijay Babu, Prithviraj refused to comment as he had 'no information other than the media reports'.
Reacting to the controversy over Edavela Babu's comment that was quoted by many as him comparing AMMA to clubs, Prithviraj said that in his knowledge, the organisation is a charitable trust. On a further query regarding Vijay Babu’s presence in AMMA general body meeting, Prithviraj maintained he is not commenting on it as he is “unaware about organization’s (AMMA’s) precedents.”
